MD/MS Residents QI Orientation Workshop - April 2019
A series of QI orientation workshops has started as part of the AIIMS PG teaching curriculum. The first workshop was held on 13 April 2019. 4 such workshops will be held per year and all residents will eventually be trained and oriented in QI and patient safety principles.
The residents were taught basic QI skills, and encouraged to create basic QI projects in their departments. They were also oriented towards basics of patient communication, patient safety, leadership, palliative care and mindfulness. April 13 2019

QI DM Neonatology Dissertation- October 2016
Dr Sindhu Sivanandan has completed her DM Neonatology Dissertation, and it was on 2 QI topics.
Dissertation 1: Quality initiative on implementation of golden hour bundle to improve outcomes of preterm neonates
Dissertation 2: Quality initiative study to avoid hyperoxia by staff education and use of oxygen saturation histograms among preterm neonates on supplemental oxygen therapy
Residents Workshop October 2016
One of the best QI sensitization workshops happened today on 8th October 2016. More than 125 resident doctors attended the QI workshop from 3 departments – Obs/Gyn, Pediatrics and Hospital Administration.
